In the fall of 2002 a group of music hungry Lloydminster residents were gathered together by our soon to be President Anne Townsend. All of us were fans of live music and it didn't take much persuasion to start the work of planning our first season of live music in Lloydminster.
Using the wonderful facilities of the Vic Juba Community Theatre we were able to entice hundreds of Lloydminsterites into our first season in October of 2003. Featuring acts such as Pavlo, the Mantini Sisters, Sons of Maxwell, Rita Chiarellia and Bill Usher it was a success!
We gathered around and planned a second and third season. 2007-2008 saw us achieve a milestone -- five consecutive seasons of live music from across Canada and around the world. Time flew and in 2012 we celebrated a decade of programs.
We have had challenges .... from weather and changes in performers and we regetfully postponed the entire 2020-2021 season due to Covid-19
We have bounced back and are now entering our entire are now entering our 23rd season (2025-2026) and we've had a great time finding a balance of new and familiar to bringing these performers to Lloydminster.
We plan to keep working hard to keep lifting Community spirit with the gift that is live music and performance.
